19th International specialised exhibition TransUkraine`2016: «Realia and prospects»

26 - 28 October 2016 in Kyiv at the International Exhibition Center there was held the 19th International specialised exhibition TransUkraine'2016 (transport, logistics, infrastructure, storage, IT).

The organiser of the exhibition is Premier Expo (ITE Group Plc. UK).

TransUkraine'2016 demonstrated the full range of industry-specific solutions - forwarding services, logistics services, processing and storage.

It is more than 50 companies took part at TransUkraine'2016 from 8 countries. Among the participants are the largest companies of the transport branch of Ukraine, CIS and other foreign countries, such as TMTM consortium: KTZ Express (Kazakhstan), ADY Express (Azerbaijan), Trans Caucasus Terminals (Georgia) and ACSC Logistics (Azerbaijan); Ukrzovnishtrans (Ukraine), PLASKE (Ukraine), BeFlexi Ltd (Cyprus).

The exhibition was visited by more than 2500 specialists of the transport industry.

Business programme generated great interest of industry specialists.

October 26, at the first day of the exhibition, Ukrainian Logistics Association successfully held the conference «Logistics practice. Transport services market, trends and prospects». There were reports, prepared by the top management and leading specialists of such giants in the field of logistics as: Kuehne + Nagel, Ekol, Logistics Workshop, Delivery, Zammler, Ukrainian Quality Association, EPAL Association.

Subjects of reports impressed  by a wide range of issues involved, aimed at the future development of the industry:

- development of transport and logistics market of Ukraine;

- digital development strategy Kuehne + Nagel;

- tools for constructing of multimodal logistics;

- customer service center is a basis for competitive strategy of logistic operator;

- logistics for e-commerce;

- business culture organisations and its impact on cooperation with developed economies;

- prospects of development of Ukrainian Logistics Association;

- 25 years of outdoor pool pallet management expertise.

At 27 October for the first time within the framework of TransUkraine'2016 there was a significant international event - roundtable discussion: «Trans-Caspian international transport route -realia and prospects». There were more than 150 representatives of international transport and logistics companies took part in this event. Of particular note is participation of coordinator of GUAM secretariat programmes Mr. Temirov Sabuhi.

 The organisers of the roundtable discussion were members of the International Trans-Caspian transport consortium.

During round table meeting business representatives presented products of logistics services, business opportunities and cooperation, as well as prospects of shippers cooperation. The organisers demonstrated to participants speed capacity and cost possibilities of organisation of transportation TMTM enroute for trade flows of goods between Central Asia, South and Eastern Europe, Turkey and the South Caucasus.

The sides discussed prospects of development of Trans Caspian international transport route, as well as issues to improve the quality of transport and logistics services of the route. Careful attention of participants of the round table discussion was focused on the possibility of expanding transportation geography (China, Europe), as well as the development of multi-modal messages Caucasus-Europe through the establishment of a rail-ferry on the Black Sea and the Caspian Sea.

Also, during round table meeting, the National Secretary of TRACEKA in Romania Ms. Maria Magdalena Grigore made an offer to establish, in cooperation with customs authorities, ports, etc., integrated information platform for online supply chain.

CEO PLASKE, Mr. Artem Khachatryan, in his comments on the results of the round table meeting, said: «We believe that today's exhibition will allow exporters to understand how they can get the route to Kazakhstan, China, Asian countries and Iran. We hope that dialogue within the framework of the exhibition will attract attention of importers, who supply products to all the markets of Ukraine, and take the route in the opposite direction».

International ñonference «Trade facilitation – is the path to sustainable development of society», which was announced by the Association of customs brokers, was held on the 28th of October. At the event there was discussed  information exchanging on the principle of «single window» in Ukraine, as a link of the logistics chain of goods delivery. Conference participants had the opportunity to learn from the experience of customs agents of Poland under the new Customs Code of the European Union, especially information exchange between supervisory authorities.

Vitaly Sobolevski, Vice-President of the Association of Customs Representatives of Belarus, director of Custom Service company said: «Of particular interest to Belarus at the conference is discussion of a mechanism to ensure information exchange and participation of customs representatives of our country».

Specialised exposition InterStorage`2016 presented exclusive news from such companies as: STILL GmbH (Germany), WMS (Ukraine), Mashtehimport (Ukraine), OOO Polymer CCF (Ukraine), Warehouse Technologies, Systems of warehouse modernization (Ukraine), Standard-Pak (Ukraine).

 By mutual opinion of the organisers, participants and visitors, such an event as the specialised exhibition TransUkraine'2016 rightly has international status, it is a kind of «litmus paper» of transport and logistics industry in the country, reflects all its twists and turns - and explosive growth and repeated crises, and intensive development. TransUkraine exhibition - is the main platform, where it is discussed the most pressing problems of transport system development, development of new information systems of interaction between different modes of transport aimed at the successful solution of problems of logistics in the global market of transport and logistics services.
